Opening for ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician
Check Engine Express is a young but fast growing company providing full-service auto repair in the West Metro. Our unique model is that we pick up and deliver our customer’s vehicles from work or home so they never have the hassle of going into a repair shop. We don’t charge for the pickup and delivery. We also do not charge recycling fees or shop supply fees, and our prices are competitive.
We follow a rare model in how we treat our customers. We never charge the customer more than what’s fair. We never fix things that aren’t broken. We don’t take advantage of our customers because we can. We want a customer’s business and loyalty for life, and we earn it by looking after the customer’s best interest first and foremost.
Our customers love the convenience and appreciate our values. We’ve grown quickly over the last three years. We’re looking to add another technician to our Minnetonka shop. The right candidate must have the following qualifications:
- 8+ years as an automotive technician
- Experience with both domestic and foreign makes & models
- ASE Master Certified
- Diesel engine repair a plus but not required
- Expertly skilled in diagnostics
- Perfect driving record
- Professional in every way
- Highly ethical and principled to always do right by the customer
Candidate will have their own complete set of tools and diagnostic equipment.
In addition, we want someone who wants to make money. Our technicians must work together as a team and be willing to assist each other when needed. We are traditionally a Monday-Friday business, but there will be occasions where evenings and weekend work will be needed to satisfy a customer’s timeline. This position requires dedication and a can-do attitude.
We anticipate opening up additional shops around the Twin Cities and the opportunity is great for nationwide franchise of our business. There will be significant potential for growth and advancement in our organization for hard working and effective professionals.
